My Story

Ginny Hulin

Ginny is a keen advocate of breaking down the stigma surrounding mental ill health and increasing the awareness of common mental health disorders. She and her team provides training to enable people to develop the skills to care for their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others in the workplace and at home. Workplace wellbeing has delivered to over 500 courses to business with returning clients including Standard Chartered Bank, Knight Frank, Ikea.

Ginny is a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and is seeing clients in private practice. Her psychotherapy work allows Ginny to bring a depth of understanding and insights into her training course around Depression and Anxiety in the workplace. She facilitates conversations in her group helping to expand people’s knowledge around mental health, to understand the warning signs and to use appropriate signpost to professional supports.

Mental Health First Aid

1 in 4 people experience mental ill health

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Adult MHFA courses are for everyone aged 16 upwards. Every MHFA course is delivered by a quality assured instructor who has attended our Instructor Training programme accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health, and is trained to keep people safe and supported while they learn.
